Description
Okoume, also commonly known as Gabon, is a Central African wood that is pale pink to light brown in color. The Okoume tree is 100-130 ft (30-40 m) tall and has a 3-6 ft (1-1.8 m) trunk diameter. Its grain is straight to wavy or slightly interlocked and has a medium texture. The large pores of Okoume wood makes it non-durable and poorly resistant to insects.
Okoume sawn timber is largely used as veneer and for making plywood, furniture, boat building and musical instruments. It’s also ideal for interior millwork. We at CameroonTimberExportSarl deliver industry-grade Okoume sawn timber to our clients in multiple countries worldwide from our factory in Cameroon. We take full guarantee of our products and provide a quality certification.
